PTFE lining pipe is a hard, chemically inert coating on equipment and pipes for protection against chemical corrosion and high temperatures. It has excellent chemical resistance and is thus ideal for handling aggressive chemicals like acids, bases and solvents. PTFE-lined pipes can withstand temperatures of up to 260°C (500°F) and possess a smooth, anti-stick surface for better flow efficiency. Composed of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin and occasionally reinforced with stainless steel, PTFE lining offers long-term reliability and durability in hostile environments.
