Being one of the top producers and suppliers of MS PTFE-lined pipes in USA, we provide cost-effective, high-performance piping solutions for aggressive applications in chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and more. Our solutions are engineered to provide long-term protection, minimize maintenance expenses, and provide safe, reliable fluid transportation. PTFE-lined pipes combine the strength of mild steel (MS) with the excellent chemical resistance of PTFE. The MS base provides mechanical strength and structural durability, while the PTFE lining provides superior resistance to corrosive chemicals, heat, and abrasive media. Its double-layer construction makes it ideal for aggressive industrial applications.
MS PTFE lined pipe is a mild steel (MS) pipe internally lined with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which is a high-performance fluoropolymer that is chemically resistant and non-stick in nature. The lining protects the steel from corrosive chemicals, and the pipe is, therefore, suitable for conveying aggressive acids, bases, and solvents in chemical processing, pharmaceutical, and food processing applications. PTFE lining offers an inert, smooth surface, while the outer casing of MS lends mechanical strength. Complementing each other, these offer durability, safety, and longevity in harsh environments where regular metal or plastic pipes would reduce their lifespan the moment they are installed.

MS PTFE Lined Pipe is a carbon steel (MS) pipe that has been lined with PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), a high-performance plastic. The PTFE lining provides resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and high temperatures, making these pipes ideal for industries that handle aggressive chemicals or abrasive fluids.
These pipes are widely used in chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, food processing, petrochemicals, and water treatment plants, where handling highly corrosive and abrasive fluids is common.
MS PTFE lined pipes generally require minimal maintenance due to their resistance to corrosion and scaling. However, regular inspection should be done for any physical damage to the lining. Any wear or damage to the PTFE lining can expose the MS pipe to corrosion. Regular cleaning and ensuring the integrity of the lining are essential for longevity.
MS PTFE lined pipes can typically handle temperatures ranging from -29°C to 200°C (-20°F to 392°F) and pressures up to 10 bar, depending on the pipe design and application requirements.
The PTFE lining is usually formed using a paste extrusion or isostatic molding process, then sintered (heat-treated) and mechanically locked into the steel pipe. This ensures strong adhesion and resistance to delamination under pressure or temperature fluctuations.
We are the leading Manufacturer and Supplier of PTFE Lined Pipe, Fittings, Flanges, Spool and Valves in Huston, USA.
